I echo Marc's comments. It is very cool to finally meet these guys. I just wish more of you were here. BTW, did anyone notice that I am holding a 4004LK in one of Marc's pics? Yes, it is true. Brian Crisman's Lemmy arrived just in time for the Confluence. It was the first thing I saw as walked into our meeting room. Pretty cool.............

I might have to check out the local shops to see if there are any Rics available to add to the confluence.

I forgot Mike Gutierrez! Speaking of Mike, we witnessed and interesting phenomenon last night. Mike's 4005 which was in the room with us was at the time, was somehow for sale on Ebay in Italy. It was kind of a weird space/time contiuum thing I guess.

Feel free to email larger photos of the Confluence to me.

Brian says the wait for the LK was about 4 years. He quipped that the wait was more than 1500 days. There are some pretty cool basses here but that one is a real attention grabber.

Thanks....I actually received it Wednesday and couldn't be happier. I wanted to "announce" it at the Confluence since it seems like an odd coincidence that I received it only a few days before so I felt that it would be fitting to keep it a secret until then (I had to post something though so that is why I had the 4004LK strap thread). I, of course, wish I had it sooner but I can certainly say that I now have no complaints and it is every bit as stunning as I thought it would be. Great job RIC.

(The actual total is 1547 days....give or take one or two due to my math skills). It is easy to say now that I have mine but I must admit that Mr. Hall was right.....it is worth the wait.

I'll start another thread with some pics/details.

BTW....I'll be back in Columbus by 6PM see ya'll then....
