I hope to have complimentary copies for all contributors. Having a chance to shoot your Lemmy, Brian, makes you a contributor!

Here are a couple more: Ted's Blackstar and Tuxedo. FYI for some: a true "Tuxedo" is this limited edition with a white painted fingerboard and tiny black dot position markers. Many sellers use the term "tuxedo" for a standard white with black trim. Nope, it's gotta have the white fingerboard.

Even if you used every one of my basses, I would want to pay you for a copy. Your book will stand as the standard on the subject for decades. It is an honor to somehow be a part of it Paul.

Paul, was there a bird hovering over the blackstar before the shot was taken?

If you must know, Brian got a little excited after he played it. Sorry you asked?

Wow.

Wish I coulda been there.

HOw often do you get more than one or two 4005's in the same place at once? It can;t be that frequent.

Back to the original thread, Paul those shots look terrific. If that's the quality of what's going to be in the book, it'll be a winner.

That shot of Ted with my 4001 project is very fitting, as even though it's in my possesion, I feel like because of the effort's he put into it, it's part his.

Agreed. Great looking pics of some very fine basses. The book should be a must have for anyone who loves the Rickenbacker bass.
