Getting out of live playing at the end of this year, trying to put together an ultimate small rig. The Aguilar GS-112 is great, the Carvin R1000 sounds good has plenty of punch for the money, even has compression. Plenty of room in the rack for more goodies.

Just the right size (using the Rick for scale)

I also have an Ampeg B2-R, Ampeg BSE410HLF, Carvin 2-10, custom 15 cab, custom 410 cab.

And am also wanting to try the Sansamp Bass DI, or the Bass Pod. Not sure which one would best suit my needs. I usually play with a pick, ala' Chris Squire style. Any suggestions?

Scott,
I thought you said the ultimate "small" rig? How is this for a giant killer?

Thats very nice Jeff. If I lose the rack, I'm just about the same size. Dimensions on the Aguilar are: 19"wide x 14"tall x 18"deep.

The Aguilar is a nice cab, I've been wanting to try 12's for a long time. Nice punchy round tone, not quite the attack you have with 10's, but not at all boomy like some 15's. It definately has its own voice, and works well with all my basses. I would recommend them to all, especially fingerstyle players.

Alot of volume and tone from such a small box.

My cabinet is 17" wide x 13" high x 16" deep. It has an EV 10BX driver in it.

My scanner isn't working and mt cheap digital camera isn't either. I'm going to fool with it next week see if I can get it going, I've been to busy with school and roundwound rebuttals to do anything else.

I bought this thing originally looking for a chorus pedal, and decided to buy this with chorus built in. 9 band EQ, DeltaComp Limiter, Shelving knobs and Deep/Notch/Bright buttons for tone shaping. The chorus sounds great! I had a Peavey 2x10 but sold it last year and haven't replaced it yet. Right now, I just play though practice amps.

Chorus pedal complete with 9 band EQ, DeltaComp Limiter, Shelving knobs and Deep/Notch/Bright buttons for tone shaping, plus 200 watt power amp, just for those who need everything in one pedal! Image

How does it sound?
