Basically, the 360 is a slightly more "deluxe" version of the 330. Here are a few notes:

- Both models only come with TWO pickups, either Vintage or Humbucking (the 340 and the 370 are the three pickup versions of each model)

- The 330 has dot fret markers, the 360 has the triangular inlays

- The 330 does not have neck binding, the 360 does (some people find the lack of neck binding on the 330 a good thing, as far as added space on the fretboard)

- I believe the 330 is a bit more "accoustic" in it's design than the 360 and generally speaking, the 360 is more suited to "Rock", if you will. That's an over-simplification, but I think you get what I mean.

- If price is an issue, the 330 is a bit cheaper than the 360.

Overall, both are fine instruments and I chose my 360 over the 330 mainly for vain cosmetic reasons (I like the triangle inlays and not dot fret markers)

Hope this helps.

Just to add my 2 bits! I did not notice a difference in the sound between my 360 and my 330. I must say that I preferred the neck action of the 330. And of course, I think that the 360 has definitely more charms!!!Image

Dan,

Yeah, I didn't notice a difference either when I played both back to back. I've just read a lot of opinions that people find the 330 more accoustic for some reason.

Ah, who knows....they're both sweetness on the ears.

The triangular inlays in the neck would make ME choose the 360. I would also go for single coils rather than Humbuckers. Thanks A LOT!
