"Flower" is the symbol on many digital cameras for the "macro" (closeup) settings.

What camera do you have?

Olympus Camedia D-560 Zoom.
My dad and I both went in half each on it a while back. We just recently dug it out to start using it for his Ebay stuff. Sorry, my dad is not selling instruments at all, since he's not a musician.

Just keep practicing, Robert, it just takes time to learn all of the tricks.
All of my pictures I post here have been taken with my Olympus D-400Z. Examples:
The last one was done in sections and spliced together with the program Quickstitch, which came with the camera's software.
The more pictures you take, the more you'll learn.

Mmmmm. Nice family you have there, Gary. I really like the checkerboard binding on the Mapleglo acoustic. I've never seen a Ric acoustic in person before. How do they sound/compare with other well known brands of acoustics? (i.e. Martin, Ovation, Alvarez, etc.)

Robert, I think that the RIC acoustic is the equal to any of the other high-end acoustics. It's been a long time since I played a Guild, Ovation (acoustic - I have an early 1970s Breadwinner solidbody), or Martin, but the RIC is definitely easier on my fingers than is my 2001 Gibson J-160E. Also, the RIC has excellent sound and projection. I can send you a short MP3 clip of it in use if you like.
There are some older threads discussing the RIC acoustics.
I was planning this year on ordering a 730L in Blueburst with the electronics option, but that is now on hiatus since RIC has temporarily suspended orders on acoustics.

Ken, I got the 4003 WHT WT locally (southern California) from the original owner, but I don't know what dealer he got it from.
Your count is right, there are 13 of 'em in that picture. And since that pic was taken, I picked up these:
As someone else said in another thread, "... So many Rics, so little time (and money) ...".
The 4001S WHT WT is a 1975, also bought from the original owner. It is one sweet bass - I'm just a hack bass player, but that one sounds and feels so good!
The 4000 FL BG is a 1977, very unusual. Also bought from the original (probably) owner (he bought it from a dealer who had it as NOS, if my memory is correct). Mike Parks has dibs on it if I ever sell it! I was so fortunate to find and buy that one.
What may not be clear is that the bass lying next to the 4000FL is a 2030GF, the 'infamous' Glenn Frey Limited Edition bass. I think that it is a very rare bass, too!

BTW, what amps do you have in the background, Gary? I see one is a Crate, and is the other a Fender?

The Fender in the background (in both the Shadow and the 325v59 pics) is a 1968 Twin Reverb with factory JBL D-120Fs.
