Scott, thanks for clearing up the guitar issue; I went through my tapes and I apprently no longer have the PBS broadcast.

I remember seeing a Behind The Music with Fogerty on it, and from what I recall, there is a lot of bad blood between him and his former bandmates.

Here's a few pictures of him with the 1997. There's also a guy in the back with a V64, looks like a 6 string.

Patrick, nice pictures. I guess that my memory isn't that great after all.

BTW, I know John's brother passed away, but didn't one of the other two original members of CCR also pass away?

No problem guys.
I actually don't have the DVD that it's on, I found this on the internet... Not bad quality as you can see.
I wanted to take some shots from it some time ago and post them.
So he doesn't play any songs with a Ric?

The bass player on this DVD is Bob Glaub, now a Lakland endorser. Some discussion of this over in the Dudepit, too.

I saw John tour in 1997 and 1998. He used the model 1997SPC for two songs, Susie Q and I Put A Spell On You. The rhythm player had what appeared to be a 360V64 6 string. Jon

They play in Creedence Clearwater Revisited. They played in the same area that I did when I was on the road. A lot of issues still exist between Fogerty, Cook, and Clifford. A reunion isn't likely to happen at all. That's sad too, they were a great band.

He's touring here in November - tickets go on sale tomorrow (Friday). He's doing one of his shows at a winery - could be my cup of tea!!

Howard, please, tell about it when it happens, i haven't seen him (and even heard of him) for ages!
A reunion could be a funny thing, really... not much likely to happen, but who knows?..

I certainly will, Sheena. I reckon it's gonna be a great night in the open air!!

Dale Fortune and I went to see John earlier this year. He sounded great. His voice hasn't changed a bit. He really put on a show however it was probably one of the loudest concerts (outside of the Who and Blue Cheer) that I've ever had to live through. I thought it was a fluke but Mike Murray said it was the same problem in Vegas!
