Me neither, Melissa - I find VoxTalks pretty useless and not 'dummy-proof' - I can be as thick as three planks when it comes to such matters!
Can't help you with the amp problems, I'm afraid.

Melissa, same thing for me, except they told me I had to re-register, and I did. I have tried numerous times to log on and I get the same message--that I need to re-register.
Very frustrating.
Isn't your Valvetronix under warranty? That's a pretty new amp, isn't it?

I gave up with Vox Talks: down to often and to many problems.

Paul, my Valvetronix was "new to me," and had hardly been used at all by the previous owner--but that's a whole 'nother story--so unfortunately it is not under warranty.... I am having a really annoying problem with the amp cutting out while I play; I think there is a short somewhere in the internal wiring, as I have tried it with different guitars, and different cables, and I have cleaned the input and output jacks.... I just don't know what else to do, as I am not technically minded at all. This is a bad time to have this problem, as we will be performing outdoors at our local "Fisherman's Picnic" festival in two weeks; I may just have to borrow a more reliable guitar amp from someone for the event, although I would miss the versatility of my Valvetronix immensely!

It really threw me for a loop the first time, but then I saw the sign in link and tried it. My understanding is that they had to go to a "sign in to view" format due to hackers. This is better protection than the old "anyone can view, only signed-in members can post" format.
