I love all types of music but my style is definitely a cross between Bernard Edwards from Chic, Flea from the Chilis with a bit of Les Claypool and Stanley Clarke thrown in and the 4003 is perfect for me.
I don't do a lot of slapping live but the rick definitely has a lot of "bounce" when I hit the string around the 19th fret.
