My band had a gig at the Cleveland House of Blues in January on "Metal Monday" (a VERY big deal for us) but on the Saturday two days before we had a show at some dive bar in Youngstown Ohio that we were going to treat as a "warm-up" for the bigger show. Well, like the genius that I am, I decided to try out my new cool 4003s8 at the Saturday show. It played great and sounded wonderful so I used it for the whole night. Brilliant!.....it is very hard on the fingers even with my well hardened digits. It is like playing a cheese grater if you are an aggresive finger plucker.
Anyway I developed some pretty severe blisters. On Monday night (at the important show) about two songs into an hour set they ripped open and left the sticky artwork shown in the pic I took the next morning. I have a pretty good pain tolerance but it was pretty rough playing the rest or the gig with my shredded nubs....but I still played pretty well and we had a great show. Plus I like the pic so it was worth it Image.

Such a proud look.....

Wow.... umm poor strings Image. Dude it looks like its time you pick up a pick for a little while. At least to those fingers heal up. Ouch.
