The metal plate on the back is to prevent scratches from belt buckles, and the small trebble pickup surround started coming around into production because people were complaining that the bigger one would get in the way. The tuning gears are bigger because people with larger hands were complaing that the Kluson and Grover keys were too small. I can't believe you guys really never thought of that. Duh!!!
I'd buy that thing to hit the seller in the head with it ala Hara Hara Haruko on FLCL. b0nG!!!
