Little known fact: Three different people have carved the Lemmy basses over the past five years...

For what it's worth, methinks the man that's currently on Lemmy duty (he carved Brian's) does the best work of the three.

I must say that the carving on mine is outstanding.....it just looks "vibrant" (not sterile). I love it!

Bob.....thanks, and while I would like a 4002, the LK is going nowhere. Unless, of course, someone makes and insane offer Image.

All I know is my LK is #21 and I know that there are still plenty of people waiting. On the Ric site it says that the certificates are issued random numbers and that is what I always heard. But then I hear people with 4001cs's saying they have #10 (or something) which signifies how early it was in the run.....so I'm not sure what my #21 means.....if anything as far as where production is at.

Jim....I forgot that you were away for a little while. I received it in mid-May and it has become my favorite quickly. Sounds, plays and looks fantastic.
