And actually these is a song I'm trying to remember, it was a B side to one of his big hit 45's early to mid 70's I don't know if it ever went on an album and I think it was live, does anyone have any ideas? It's starting to come back to me and if I remember it I'll post it later. OK I got it was "The Mess"

The flip side of Junior's Farm. Never got a lot of play time, primarily because it was country based, but I really liked it.

From my understanding I thought this years tour was going to feature a bunch of Wings material?

Ok, I found a way that works to make everyone happy about a "different" McCartney tour. Ready for this??

You get Denny Laine, Denny Seiwell, Henry McCullough, and Jaurence Juber...keep Rusty to handle the lead guitar... and go out on tour next year as a 30th Anniversary "Wings Over America" tour.

Now I realize they all didn't play on that tour together but it's getting a classic "Wings" lineup together for one last tour. The only strong person missing would be Jimmy Mac. and Linda if you want to go there. Do the exact tour that they did 30 years ago, same venues (or cities since some venues are gone now), same set list!!!! I would PAY FOR THAT!!!!

Of course I don't think it would ever happen but you never know. That might be something Paul would consider since he's been doing basically the same Beatles/solo set list for years with a few exceptions. I think it's intriguing. I'm sure there wouldn't be a problem getting anyone on board since I doubt any ego's would be a problem.

I know that Paul & Denny Laine had a falling out at the end of Wings but I saw on Denny's website that he made a "Paul McCartney & Wings Tribute album" a few years ago so all things can't be too bad between them.

Yes Bob, "Go Now" is a Moody Blues tune. IMO the only Moody Blues song worth listening to.

Sure a Wings reunion would be cool, but the same set list from '76 would bother me. They need stuff from London Town and Back to the Egg. The reason I didn't put any "Egg" songs on my list is becuase I think that album sucks major a$$ IMHO. Just bloody awful.

I agree that there are plenty of other Beatles/Wings/solo tunes that Macca could roll out. However, there's a duel problem with NOT closing with "Hey Jude": first, people would go nuts if he didn't. Second, how do you follow it? Almost 40 years after I first saw the "Jude" video on "The Smothers Brothers" show, I still get tears in my eyes when I see him do it, same as I did that night.

Wings reunion – no way… don’t need it! This band rocks! And I a Wings fan so no flames please! He just needs to changeup the set list a bit.

I have to tell you. I heard Helter Skelter today from live 8 and they kicked the hell out of it. McCartney’s voice sounded great

Hey Nate, did you ever hear it? The Steve Miller Band's early stuff was great. I have it on an album called Steve Miller Band Anthology, I think they changed the name to Steve Miller's Greatest hits 1968-1972 or something like that, I also heard it's on a little thing called a CD, do you know what that is? But seriously early Steve Miller was great. I have there first 6 or 7 albums. It's nothing like "Keep a Rocking me Baby" It's kind of bluesy and trippy at the same time.

It's just longevity. Remember the Beatles were only around for 7 years. Queen stuff still sells gobs in Britain today.
And it's not like they got beat out by Backstreet Boys or something, Queen doesn't suck!!
