I have seen a highly figured rosewood fretboard on a fireglo 330 at Truetone in Santa Monica.

There is no special selection of the fingerboards other than pass/fail. But it is true- I've seen some really nice boards lately, with great dark figure running along with the reddish grain.

Been crying over a few tinnies about the cricket Aitch?

Thanks, Paul. I've been as busy as a one-armed paperhanger! On top of that, suffering from forum withdrawal......

Not crying at all, Wints. The Poms thoroughly deserved the win - they played all over us. Sure, I've had a few tinnies, but as much in celebration of a fantastic series as drowning the sorrows.

I think the Aussies needed a wake up call and a hefty kick in the *** and they got it...... too cocky IMO!!

We weren't too sad...It's only taken us 20 years to get there....
Of course, we still have to win in your back yard....

Howard, you probably do need consoling on a national level. Must have been the rounds of Fosters they drank the night before that done em in.

Does anyone actually drink that stuff there or is it strictly for export to the other colonies?

G'day Brian!!

It's still available, but I would think it comes after Victoria Bitter, Carlton Draught and Melbourne Bitter in terms of mainstream product volumes. I don't drink it myself.

You know Howard I am sure glad that Sir Winstons' hand is facing out. If it faced the other way you know what that means. He was a good old fellow though. One of the best ever.

Yeh I thought that you lot would get the best to drink. When you come over I'll hoist a pint of Guinness with you.
