Howard: Really? That's interesting, I didn't know! We have a few Acura's that are manufactured in Ontario Canada... Actually, Acura has had 2 models that was unique to the Canadian market. Why? I don't know!
Jwilli...
All I can say is: Wow!
If you've seen the Top Gear episode of a few weeks ago with that car in it you'd want to take it for a spin immediatly. If you don't mind me asking, what kind of car does your brother drive? If he can afford a CLS (an AMG for that matter) for the wife he must have quite a set wheels for himself!

That's a lot of money for a microbus that has a hard time going up a slight incline, haha!

I thought those microbuses were all gone years ago. Very rarely see those anymore, at least in my neck of the woods.

This had paperwork back to '66, I was the second owner, friends with the first. Had been in storage 1981-2004. Most importantly, no rust. It's now in Texas, being refurbished, and will probably be sold for even more. Funny what people will pay for old items that remind them of their youth. Restored Deluxes, usually 63's or before go for in the 60 thousands. Guitars and cars= good investments!

Yowza is right! Beautiful car.
I work often at LAX (on the tarmac), and see some beauties coming off the aircraft. Once there was a whole line of MB's parked in a cargo area, and several had "prototype vehicle" decals on their rear flanks. Oh to sneak a camera on the airfield!
