That's a great video... I bought it when it came out. I had no idea he has a solid 360.

Thanks for the pic, Peter. I've looked at that guitar on the video cover before but never noticed the lack of a slash or f-hole. I wish someone would post some of the live clips from it on youtube as it now appears to be out of print.

Kenny, is the "Full Moon Fever" Ric a "solid body" or a 360 WB without the sound hole? Big difference.

Can't say for sure. I never heard of TP getting a regular 360WB with a solid top, yet the solid-body 360WB presented to him in the late '80s is well-documented.
By the way, the guitar in the Smith book (with "Tom, Many Thanks, Rickenbacker" on the pickguard) is a Rose-Morris 1997 reissue. You can see the f-hole in the photo.

I believe the FMF guitar is entirely solid maple, not hollow at all.
