Maybe they are two different guitars, after all, the one serial number is 5006 and the other is 5007. It’s not like someone could make that up…………

I spoke to “basser-x” via emails, to give him a heads up(basser-x is the original owner of the photo and auction that the scammer is using). I know he contacted EBAY to complain. I wonder why EBAY hasn’t pulled this yet?????????

The seller in the legit auction ("basser-x") is the high bidder (currently at $500,100.01...) in the bogus one.
Dave is still ahead in the legit auction... hope you win it Dave!

While on the subject of doublenecks, I was wondering how difficult would it be to splice two 4001 Rics into a fretted/fretless doubleneck:

Didn't the Isreali army make one of those as an ELFID (Extremely Low Frequency Intestinal Discombobulator)?

Ilan, I have always liked the idea of a F & FL double neck, but I am now 48 yeas old, lost most of my hair, and not sure my back would last for more than a couple of numbers.
I think taking 2 basses to the gig would be the prudent option for me now....

I liked the reversible thing over at krappyguitars.com He had a guitar and bass but it would work better fretted and fretless bass!!!!

Thanks Ilan,
I hope I win it as well.
The FRT/FTRLESS concept looks awsome.
I think Mike Rutherford (Genesis) first duct taped his Ric doubleneck together, before he had it spliced together for real.
HMMM
Where’s my duct tape at??????????????????

The scammer has cancelled all bids - look at the chutzpa this guy has after cancelling the real owner's bid:
"Cancelled: US $800,000.00
Explanation: he's selling one like mine. so he bid on mine so no one esle would buy it"
