We can't let those guys in California have all the fun. Can we have a factory tour, can we, can we???? I can tell my wife to leave the dinner in the oven.

Pity it isn't Sunday 11th as there is a vintage guitar show at the motorcycle museum in Birmingham. (and I will be there) 26th looks bad for me now as my sprog starts uni on that day and I have to take him! (but OK if we met at Newcastle).

Sorry, won't be able to make it this month now, diary has filled up. How about a shift to October?

Peter, any info about the show in Brum? I'd love to check it esp if I can get to play a 4005 or 4000!
Do they have guitars and basses for sale at it?

Ronan, A link to the show...

There will be hundreds (I hope) of guitars and basses for sale, but I wouldn't hold your breath for a 4005 to be there! I will have some 12 strings with me but they will all be lefties! I may take a 4001 if I can fit any more into the car.

October/november are fine with me - I was afraid I'd miss the September date. My '65 4001 is looking forward to a day out...

I think that there are a number of us that really want this to happen, so it will! I'll find out some more details....whatever though...we'll make it work.

You've GOT to make it work , guys.....these events are great!!
Seeing fantastic instruments are only HALF the fun...meeting with and talking to the owners is MORE fun IMHO...

You're right Chris. Lindsay came to the UK not long ago & made the effort to come & see me. It was a fantastic experience & one I can't wait to repeat with my fellow UK forum friends.
There are some very decent, likeable people in this world & a lot of them seem to own Rics....

Tony, now you've got to come see us when you get the chance! BTW, thanks again for a very happy time.
Please post pics and stories from the UK confluence; as Chris says, meeting the people that Peter has assembled is a great thing, one that should be shared.
