it is a great gigging bass ... also 70's basses look great in mapleglo because of the walnut stripe ...

Dave, that 'Stang actually had someone who gave a damn while refinishing it. Mine is truly horrid looking! Image How does yours play?

All the Rick examples look nice.

Ed, strangely enough, the Stang, is my best sounding vintage guitar. I like it better than some of my old Strats.
