Ok guys! The show was fantastic! Thanks to Peter McCormack for giving me the heads up about the tour and getting the venue info to me. For a complete run down of the set list and equipment, go to Voxtalks, as Mark Barnes wrote everything down there.

"The Best of the Beatles" played songs that the Beatles played during the tenure of Pete Best for the most part. They definitely were a high quality sounding, professionally tight band with two drummers. On a couple of songs Pete Best was the only drummer. Mr. Best only spoke a few words, which was disappointing, but the band started late which may be the reason for that. After the show, which was attended by about 200 people, about 30-50 people stayed for autographs. He signed a couple of 45s for me, my Beatles Gear book, and a new upper pickguard made by Don Adamek (once again, thanks Don!). As I just mentioned in the "Luthier" section, I am now likely the only owner of a "Pete Best Signature Series" Rickenbacker!! Mr. Best asked me what he was signing, and when I explained it was a guard for my '66 Rick he asked if it was a blonde or black, at which point I said it was an FG. He then said it must be nice. I think signing the guard was a bit confusing to him! Thanks again Peter McCormack for giving me a chance to meet a Beatle!
