The Bm was prevalent, but I think their claim to fame was the descending minor that was used in many, many, songs. It seems to have started with "A Taste Of Honey". I could be wrong, but I think that was the first song they did (as a cover) that had the descending minor. Others were; Michele, Fixing A Hole, Strawberry Fields, and many more.

And lets not forget the ASCENDING minor, as in "If I Fell" among others. (or is that ***-ending?)

i think the Beatles' use of minor chords definitely affected the change in songwriting styles in the mid-60s. It added dimension and melody. The fifties was a lot of 1-4-5 and 1-6-2-5 chords which get interminably boring (at least the '6' was a minor). I get SO sick of the predictability (not to mention monotony) of some 1-4-5 blues and country songs. Give me a 2 minor and 3 minor any day. Before the 50s it was the tin pan alley stuff- a bit more variety and many standards, but still basically 32 bars w/ the odd diminished chord thrown in. Thanks to the Fabs, alot of things changed...

Yes, I know what you mean Paul. I felt exactly the same the other day playing the Bm chords in "What you're doing" middle eight.

The Beatles were simplistic and continually looked for ways to use open chords as much as possible, especially in the early years. They used open chording as much as possible irregardless of what you see in the music books. Bm goes very well with the G chord in the circle of 5th's.

Look back on yourself. Reconsider your life...
No, seriously...

Sliced up so we can make some sense of it the quote is "Take a pause have a rest" (probably means a rest from grunting and groaning)
"Then, look back yourself" (presumably because you just made a note worthy deposit)
"and reconsider your life" (probably a commentary on what you ate that impacted the quality of your deposit.
I think a comedian fluent in English, must have written that product description tongue in cheek of course. No pun intended. I would say the writer definitely had Bm in mind.
www.engrish.com is a very funny site.
