Mine was black, kinda plain for Plush, or Kustom. They were the same co. right? Or one bought out the other, or something like that.

Absolutely! 
I'm sure they'd sound terrible against today's super clean bass amps, but John Fogerty still uses his for guitar! Might have been the same company. A friend had a 1956 Thunderbird with a R&P'd dashboard that matched my amp.

Good luck. Seems the consensus is to go with all four and raise the bridge. That should get you through the gig, anyway.

Ever see one of those 3x15"s Kustom made? Really cool looking, they looked like a big PA column and had a 200 watt SS head I believe, looked a lot better than they sounded.

Oh yes, I've seen them. One made its way onto our stage sometime in 1971 and stayed only one night. They did sound terrible. Our organ player at the time also covered his B3 and a double Leslie cabinet that he built in white sparkle Naugahyde. To go one better (or taller )than the 3 x 15: Back in 1967, a friend built 4 x15 bass cab modeled after the Fender Dual Showman 2x15 cab. About 6 feet tall, it was. Luckily, we used a hearse to haul equipment -- it never would have fit in his car.

nope, but I do fondly recall Shure Vocalmasters!!!!! The ones with the lights in series with the filaments! If you're panel lights were out, no go!

Ever see the 32 speaker 600 watt SVT's built for the monsters of rock tour? They argued about who was going to use it and no one did haha! They got sold to Japan and are in the Guinness book of world records as the largest working amps ever built. I think they made three.

I would have thought the Dead's 300 (or however many it was) plus wall of Jbl's would have held some kind of record.
