It didn't sell - bidding never exceeded $650. The reserve was more than double that! Any opinions on whether it's really worth that much?

How did you know what the reserve was? Did the seller tell you, Aitch?

Yes, Paul.
I emailed him last week to enquire as to whether he was prepared to ship to Australia and accept direct bank deposit. I emailed him again yesterday after the auction didn't meet the reserve. I asked him if the guitar was still available and whether he was going to re-list it. He gave me his reserve and asked whether I was interested.

I was watching that one, too. But I feel he wants too much, special color or not. Pretty one, though.

It's a US$950 guitar, IMO. In mint condition.

The seller is basing his price on his belief that it is a rare bird. I wouldn't know whether it is or isn't.
