I don't think it's Jacob that got it. Who ever bought it deals with selling shark's teeth and like objects.

Mine too, but a ½-inch one, pre-74. That's what I'm after.

I have a 73 Azureglo, with the 1/2" spacing and checker binding. Someone tried to refinish it MG. However, under the pick guard you can still see the original finish. I want to restore it, but it's a project for another day.

BTW, who do you think would be the right person for a Azureglo refinish?

There was a very rare early 73 AG with all the pre 73 appointments that I missed out on a few weeks ago. A one owner bass, the guy wanted $900 for it. I told him I'd match what anyone would pay, and then some more, but a guy drove 4 hours and waved $1150 under his nose and he bit....

Dave, try Mike Dolan outta California. Probably run about $375, but it'll look perfect.

Andrew, $900 wasn't fair for a 73?

At that price he was almost giving it away Marc.
He was happy he made $1150. I didn't have the heart to tell him that it would have probably fetched two or three times that on E Bay.

When was the last time anyone saw a AG bass for sale with full width MOP etc?

Michael Dolan just repaired and refin'd my 1980 Azureglo. It turned out beautiful. I highly recommend his work.

Andrew, never!!!! That's my absolute dream Rick. I'd sell my limbs to buy one of those!!!! In fact I'd probably swap my CS AND my 4000 for one.... well, possibly.....
