Hi Bob, glad to hear you're having second thoughts! I seem to remember having a discussion about making stainless rods some years ago and was told because of the shape of the rods it may be quite difficult, but since the last thing I made out of metal was something at school when I was 12 (can't even remember what it was), I guess I'm not the best person to advise! I'm sure there are several people on the Forum who will be able to give an informed opinion (after saying that my new rods could be stainless for all I know..didn't ask!). Anyway, all the best and enjoy playing her!
