A friend of mine reports he saw Blondie open for the New Cars last night in IL.
Welcome Bill.

I was thinking about going to see Blondie, but when I saw who was in the New Cars, I decided against it. If Blondie is opening, I guess I could leave after their set.

Greg,
Who is in the New Cars?

Jerry: Looks like the New Cars feature Rundgren (Vocals/Guitar), Elliot Easton (Guitar), Greg Hawkes (Keyboards), Kasim Sulton (Bass), and Prairie Prince (Drums).

Thanks randy...do they do Todd's songs as well? At least they've got Elliot's guitar playing going for them...otherwise, not to Cars-y of a lineup!

First time I noticed the Ric was about a year ago or so, when I got VH-1 Classic on my digital tv, it's the only channel I "watch".

I don't remember many Rickenbackers in Blondie footage, but I'm sure they're present...good stuff, and Clem Burke, what a machine. He's always been in my top three with Ansly Dunbar and Mark Brzezicki of original Big Country fame!
