Yes he did Bob November 68 made number 4 but it was his first top 20 hit since 63 and he has not had another since. Come Back When You Grow Up was Bobby Vee made number 3 in August 67, again his last hit in states had been in 63, same situation as Dion never has another top 20 since.

Roy you're bang on as usual. Richard vs Richards yep that was a slip in terms of getting my brain to coordinate with my keyboard. It was not an intentional mistake on my part. Peter is right too, the tactic did not work. When I was a teenager in England I remember vividly the controversy that surrounded Cliff. He was always compared to Elvis.
