Not sure whether it's a refin; the main page (http://www.mikigakki.com/vintage/menu.html) lists it as "BG," but it sure don't look burgundy to me, on my computer monitor or in person...

I'm no expert in these matters, but from the picture which shows the back of the bass, it looks like the 'darker' Bergundy finish.

John Hall has stated in the past that Bergundy varied from very light reddish to almost Jetglo in appearance.

Could still be a refin though.
