i have never had a guitar signed, but i have had a ton of records and cds signed. that value? priceless to me.

I too have wondered about the refin issue; mine has some cool wear spots (and one or two minor nicks etc) which I feel gives the bass character, but I appreciate that it devalues the bass somewhat. Not that I have any plans to sell, but with a collectable bass like the CS, is a refin more saleable than a worn example? In fact if the refin was done well enough, would you be able to tell? Are there really refin-ed CSs already out there?
