I've always wanted to hear the first Bangles EP, "The Bangles," but can never find a copy anywhere.

How Is The Air Up There?
(notice smug reference to song on said E.P., thus indicating that person posting this smug reference owns copy of said E.P.), which they bought at Tower Records somewhere in Manhattan back in 1987).
IRS reissue of it that is. The original E.P. I've never been able to find either.

I saw the bangles on an afternoon video show (that originated from Los Angeles) in spring 1983, on which the EP was promoted.
I ordered it from Singles Going Steady (record store) in Portland that day. Great record, but I think their first proper album is their best.

Reading this thread, I had to look through my albums, I knew at one point in the '80's I bought a Bangles record. I have "All Over The Place" in vinyl with the shrink wrap. I know I've only listened to it once, and only a few cuts. SH has a rick on the cover.

Didn't they spend months building it and when they presented it to her she said "that's cool - but can you do it in black..."
That's correct. I have the prototype and it is indeed white.

Then am I to assume the 'white' 350 prototype is in the first photo (1st post)? She used it, briefly, and then it wound up coming back to you, John?

I wasn't involved in any of that deal so I'm not sure why I have the prototype here. Or maybe there were two, for all I know. Anyway, mine is identical to the photo.

John and Susanna each have a white 'prototype 350SH'. The one John has is the checker bound 350 that was shown to her as a possible Signature guitar. I don't remember when I first saw it at the factory, but it pre-dates Rickenbacker's involvement with Susanna.
Susanna has a white pre-production model and a black production 350SH. She also owns a couple of JetGlo 325s that I sold her back in the early 1980s. Back then their road manager and I were friends, and I even subbed for him for a couple of shows when he had to go out of town...

Wasn't there also one on ebay in the last 18 months? I recall it didnt sell the first time and was relisted... If so, that makes (at least) 3 of them...

Glad someone knows about the guitars I have!
FYI, she also recently acquired a 350/12V63 in Jetglo.
