FYI, the "guitar" version of these bass tuners are Not Imperials; they are the "Slimline" series.
Martin used them in the 70s on their silid head D12-28[6 in a line version] and also on their "S" models with slotted headstocks.I recall seeing some of the guitar versions used on Ricks I'd seen in the early 80s.Wonder if Rick may have any N.O.S. around yet? JH?

Oh, BTW, these guitar version Slimlines also happen to be the very same ones, albeit earlier,
[circa '69-'70]that McGuinn had retrofitted to his
'66 370-12, but in gold plated.
