Anybody know how close Winchester is to CHarlottesville, VA? I could conceivably make a weekend of it by hitting the RIckenfest on Saturday and then see friends elsewhere in the state. . .

John, Winchester is 98-100 miles away from Charlottesville, but about a 2hr. drive if you take I-81 to I-64. It is a more direct route this way, but shorter if you take US 29 to C-Ville rather than the Interstate.

Doh. Logistic issues. I thought my school (where I teach) was in Fall Break the following week, but we're not, so I'd be pushing it to blow off the whole weekend :/

You'll kick yourself for not going......I'm still upset that I only made it to one day of the Columbus Confluence and had a car issue that kept me from the 2nd day.
