Just received an email from the seller....no certificate but he has a letter from Ric with it. No biggie for me.
He's sending my confirmation pics tomorrow. He doesn't have a digital camera so that explains the lack of pics on the auction.
Hopefully it will be a done deal tomorrow and I should have it by mid week

TOLUENE!!!!!!!!!!
Key-rist! I used to work in a lab...toluene is NASTY!
Nice snag...but I understand the 4004 fixation now.

Brian...Okay...I admit it, I'm a Squire fan big time and have secretly desired one of those since they came out. I WANT that bass! The question is how long you'll hold it while I save/steal the money to pay for it.

Nice job, Brian!
Will you be able to put your keyboard back together or will you just buy a new one?
B.I.N. keyboard slams are the most fun, eh?

Sorry for the mis-spell Ed.....I worked in a lab production facility as well but toluene was pretty much phased out by then. Most of the sealants were xylene based at that point. Then I ventured off to the concrete admixture testing division before quitting for my current civil service position. There are plenty of nasty substances floating around a typical lab.
Dane....just drop me an email when you are ready (or close to). I have a few nibbles but nothing firm yet. I'll post on here before heading to Ebay. I'm going to act pretty quick. I'll take plenty of pics for Ebay which should help boost the price a little but if it doesn't go I won't sell it for a loss.....I'm not above breaking even for a fellow Forumite but I don't see a reason to lose money either.
A Blackstar and some cash sounds pretty good to me though......
Chris....I gave it a few minutes before the BIN so my keyboard is fine.....I do still live in fear of "appletree antiques" though!

Just an update.....
I'm still waiting for the pics I asked for. You would think that an Ebay seller with 440 feedbacks would have a digital camera. One of the emails seemed like he just wanted me to send the money and he'd forward the pics when he got them because he really needs the money soon.
I'm not too concerned (since I haven't sent the money) but I have kind of an odd feeling. Plus he hasn't answered my question as to what town he lives in so that I could possibly pick it up.
I have learned to trust my gut and depending on how things go I may be looking at a negative feedback....oh well.
