I sent an email

i get more compliments on my bass than i get on my playing.

Here it is:

I left the amp at a friend's where we were jamming for a couple of months. When I went to get it back it was covered up in a corner of the basement & the Tolex was all mildewed. Had to be stripped off, no other way around it. If you know someone who has access to the stuff it shouldn't be too much of a problem to recover it.

Me too Sean! I'll take 'em anyway. All the local guys just drool over my Ricks. I bumped into an old high school bud at a benefit one time, & when I told him I've got 2 Ricks now he said "show off!"

I once had a drummer tell me that 'when you walk onstage with a Ric, you look like you mean business.' Couldn't have said it better m'self.

Whenever I gig or do auditions, the '68 does the first 30% of the work for me.
