Jeff Rath... that's interesting! I haven't look at any new 4003's in a while, but I remembered I didn't like the way the body looked when they first came out. I said I would never buy one.

So all the new basses have the slimmer horns? Cool!

I like the new 4003 basses because they look more like my old '68 than the 1970 thru 1996 basses did ... I have 2 2001 4003 basses ... so yes all the new 4003 basses are shaped more like a 60's 4001 ... now if they only had checkered binding ...
