The only bass that I even remotely thought about paying that price for was the LK and that dream is gone as well. so unless I know I cn turn a quick buck on it, i'd pass on most.

The $2.3K it went for last year looks cheap now for a 60's bass, even with an incorrect horseshoe and lapsteel surround...

I asked that in a different thread and got my answer here - the horseshoe surround just didn't look right to me.

I would peg its value more like $2000 to $3000 ... and not $6700 ...

I too am from February of '69, which makes me want it, but it is too much.

Thats a lot of dough for a modified 69. The seller doesn't mention any of the mods.
