Not sure if Classic Axe did a setup or not. Agree that the humidity/temperature/shipping issues can mess with a lot of things, but I'll tell you if you tried the D-G harmonics on the 5th/7th frets, and then tried fretting the notes, they were so far off it was scarry. The same G pair was also quite flat when fretted on the 12the fret, so it seemed to be localized to that particular pair.
Since NOBODY in town had one to play, I bought this guitar on blind faith, which for me was quite a leap, having never done that before. Right now I'm happy but not estatic--that'll happen when I get the nut spacing taken care of. BTW, the nut issue also surprised me because I have extremely short, skinny fingers. (Don't even get me near a fullsize classical guitar
) I can only imagine how people with big fingers manage a C chord with the stock nut. I was considering ordering a 620-12 but am now reconsidering a 660-12 instead, assuming the wider neck means wider spacing (not to mention the different bridge and the Toasters.)
