I don't know about the Ampeg, but this one looks like 2 stacks of 16 X 10's or maybe 15's.

On the lighter side; Mesa 400+. ~40LBS, about 1/2 an SVT. 12 glowing 5881s and 4 12AX7s.

Two independent pre inputs with two different characters. A natural with a Ric stereo out.

haha... and for the price you could just buy two different heads... and a small car.

Kidding... I would love to play on in the flesh. I bet they are pretty insane for huge shows.

Got the traynor today and I love it! the amp/cab can do anything... bass heavy dub, screaming highs, scooped hi fi, or my personal fav tight bottom with crisp well defined upper mids.

I think this amp was designed for the tone I like. Worth the money and then some!!!

So.......as soon as I make that comment about downsizing, I stop in at my local Music-Go-Round, just doing some window shopping, when I run across THIS...Ashdown 2x10, as new but marked used, sounds PHENOMENAL! MAG210DEEP. price...$110. So...I brought it home. I guess I am downsizing as well! For a 2x10, this thing moves some air!
I figure if it's good enough for Macca, it's good enough for me! Image

Good score Steve. I use two of the ABM versions of that cab & I am yet to find a venue that it is too big for it. We recently played a large venue with an 18K PA rig. OK, my Ashdown head was DI's through the desk, but on stage it sounded very sweet.
