It's ok Bill.. I was wondering what the hell you meant, but I ignored it. I have Warwick steel rounds on atm. I've played flats and they were too thumpy for me.

I bet Nana's gonna be psyched to have an extra 15-20 pounds to carry! Are you expecting her to actually carry it or include it in her stuff that she's moving or what? The reason I say this is because, whenever I travel back and forth from Japan to the States, someone wants me to carry something, and even if it's just something small, it's still usually a pain...

She's taking a boat.. she's bringing everything she owns. Another box shouldn't be a big deal.

Ok, Nana said she'll pay cash for the bass, and I pay her back! Yay me! And bringing it with her is no problem. usually she is a pain.. when I didn't think I'd get my 4001 back I asked her to use her credit card to get me a Geddy J bass.. I'd pay her for it. She said no. This has redeemed her in my book..

Ok, online places that have a jetglo bass in stock.. hmm.

I checked Parks site.. nothing.. a monty, but I want black. I checked PotR.. only a MID and a BB there.

Ok, screw it.. nevermind. All of a sudden we're moving to AZ, so I wouldn't get my bass until May or June if I was lucky. That's if nana even gets it anyway. I'm getting sick of this happening. I get promised stuff and it never happens. This happened with my 4001 with my dad all the time. "I'll go get it today, I promise." "Didja get my bass?" "No, it wasn't done yet." Heh, I got that bass back the day before I left the country. They (my parents) are accusing me of being selfish now.. I'm not being selfish if it was a promise. To quote Ashlee Simpson (Yes, I'm a fan.) "I guess promises are better left unsaid." So true.

Sorry.. I had to vent. I probably am being selfish, but I never am, so gimmie a break.

Ah, Rush and Ashlee Simpson . . . the two most opposite things I could possibly imagine in the realm of music.

Rofl! Well.. at least you know my tastes are everywhere.. lol. What's wrong with liking both Rush and Ashlee? Actually she is the odd one out. In order, I like:

1) Rush
2) Pink Floyd
3) The Beatles
4) Iron Maiden (With Dickinson)
5) Kiss (Anything but "Crazy Nights" and "Hot In The Shade"!)
6) Ashlee Simpson Image
7) Black Sabbath (With Ozzy)

Nothing against Sabbath.. but... Image

And two songs on my favorite songs list are Ashlee songs.. hehe. Image

(What a bogus 1000th post! Also, what a good way to destroy what people think of my musical tastes!)

I quote Rush more than Ashlee.. that Ash quote is the only good one so far.

That's funny, Jared.. lol.

Nate - when are you moving to AZ? I assume you mean Arizona? That's good isn't it? Won't you have more access to music stores? I was wondering how Nana was going to pay cash for a bass...

I don't know.. yeah Arizona. The problem being they (My Ma and Nana) were planning on going to AZ, then staying, then going, then staying. My step dad got fed up with it and said we're going back. I'm not too fond of New Zealand, but when I decide to stay, they decide to leave. We were planning on setting up everything for the music school I got into.

I guess I can't go now. I passed the audition as one one the younger people, but now we're leaving.

My grandmother (dad's side) lives in Buffalo, New York, and I've been talking with her about moving there to live with her. We decided it would be best if I say with mamma and go to school.. well I can't now. Granny has a grudge against my mom, and this won't help one bit.

Yeah, the music stores would help. My cousin (who just turned 16) might go there soon. She and I could start a band or something. She's an amazing singer and she plays keyboards too. Hopefully I can get my GED in Phoenix (I left high school to come here and I never finished) and go to a community college or something.
