Whatever happened to Paul Yan? I haven't seen a post from him in at least a year.... He has 3 beautiful Ric basses with feminine names, and they are obviously the loves of his life--he used to regularly post beautiful photos of them, too.

BTW, none of my guitars have real names, but I just may have to make some exceptions real soon....
My 1967 365 is "my Favorite," or my "Main guitar."
My 481 slant-fret has always been "The Weirdo," because that's what it is.
My Comstock acoustic is "My Commie."
The rest are generally called by their model numbers, although my 4001v63 is just "The Bass."
I suppose my turqoise 325 needs a real name of its own.... Any suggestions, Paul?

Paul...
My brain's been out of town since about Sunday. That one flew right over my head.

Paul Yan is doing fine. He's currently away from Taiwan which is why we've not heard from him for quite some time. He should be back in the swing of things soon.

Mine have names..... Investment #1, investment #2, investment #3, etc......
Actually, the only one I've named is my 4003FG - "Eric" - can't remember why!

I call my '68 Number Four because it's the fourth Ric I've owned. I've owned probably a dozen or so since, but it's the only one to garner a name.

I'm glad Paul's ok... I wanna know how he put that high gain cover on the bridge pickup on his basses. My bridge pickup seems naked.. I wan't it to look like my neck pickup.
Well.. I wake up ready for some pics to be taken, and my mom's taking a nap! Pfft.
I never thought I'd get this many replies...

The man from the Ric Detector Van said he could spot a 'jangle' a mile away...

I have named just a few of my Rickenbackers.
My '66 360-12 is known as 'Loretta Laughing Dogs'....Loretta being the name inside the cavity and Laughing Dogs is the band name stencilled on the case.
My '59 335 MG Capri is 'Blondie', very unoriginal but hey, it suits!
The 1960 335F is affectionately known as 'Fatboy' for obvious reasons.....
