Nice Paul, did you make the chairs too?

I'm in the process of building a coffee table right now. I was going to go with an antique oil and wax finish, but your table has got me thinking.

The chairs are Ikea cheapos, $20.00 each. They came in Fireglo!

Paul do you suffer from insomnia? Where do you find the time to run a business, work on guitars and do custom furniture? Or have you found a way to squeeze more hours in a day.

I'm sure a table like this would be a talking point in the reception area at the Ric Factory.

Actually, Ron, I don't run a business, although I do run part of a University Department, which honestly takes 60 hours per week. My guitar restoration and finishing work and this table are done lunch hours and evenings, and a couple of Saturdays each month.

Sundays I reserve for insomnia.

The term "workaholic" sound familiar Paul. Jeepers when do you get time to breath.

Aitch that's a nice fence. I love that silver grey transparent stain. It's kind of rustic looking. Nice flowers too. It's amazing what a bit of sun turns up isn't it. LOL

It's not stained, Brian. That's your common or garden weathered Ozzie hardwood fence. This is what the relatively new one along my driveway looks like:

Here's what it could look like with a few hundred feet of masking tape and an afternoon's work with a spray gun:Image

Very nice Aitch. Now you need permission and you also need to find a good painter. Perhaps Paul will volunteer to find you one who is worthy. LOL
