Poor chap, started auction at $300.
By the time the auction ends he'll be afraid to even look at the thing.
Awesome guitar.

May be among the 'crudist', but I have one just like it (2V103), and it plays superior than ANY hollow Rick I've ever had. ...and it weighs in at .000000002 ounces.

I don't guys. I just don't think it looks all that great. Beauty IS in the eyes of the beholder, but to me the thick body, the headstock shape, the brown finish, the tailpiece... nice, but not my cup of tea. So, you don't have to worry about me bidding and raising the price. To each his own...

When I say crude, I mean it only lovingly...
You can feel the heart of the builders in it...
However-
These are a darn sight better built than the 50s bursts
I've played!
Yeah- and the weight on these is perfect.....
A wish I could stop droooling!

what does the T mean in the serial ?

'T' for Trapeze, as in Tailpiece.
The majority of the first Capris appear to have been 'V' for Vibrola

Difficult to say what it's worth. I think it'll go for $100 more than I bid....... as usual
And I'd say 1958?

How come it let you bid Graham? It says USA only. I couldn't bid on the lefty 360/12 as it says USA only too! Luckily I have got another forum member in the USA to bid for me.

I just tried to bid on a 330 in the US Peter, but it wouldn't let me, but on others it will. When you set up your ebay listing, you have the option to choose where you accept bids from. Some sellers that say US only, haven't chosen this option so you can bid. Sorry if you knew this!

Ahh! No, I didn't know that Tony. I mailed the seller and he said to ask someone in the USA to bid for me, so I did! Sorted!!
