Nate...
If you haven't done so yet, check out Owen's band's website. AWESOME tone and the music got me hooked real quick.
That'll be ten bucks, Owen....hahaha
BTW... which Rick is on those songs?

Thanks Bob!
theres more songs on our myspace page too.
Its all the white bass, with brand new daddario prosteels. All live thru a 2X15 cab cranked up loud and miked (they make me take a DI also but i seldom end up using it) Used the burg with fender flatwounds on a couple of songs. It just doesnt have the same qualities as the white one, even strung the same - i mean even acoustically very different.

You're weclome man!
I know what you're saying about the acoustic differences. I've owned a '94 4003, an '81 4003, and now my '77 4001... all entirely different interpretations of that same old growl. I'm lucky to now own the best of the 3.
I've had D'Addario XL's on it... trying Chromes when the FedEx guy gets here. I put them on my daughter's (my) Beatle Bass copy and fell in love with their feel.
I'll be checking out the myspace page... be on the lookout for the friend request... (you'll know it's me by the 4001 and the legendary hat)

My guitarists Father runs a guitar store up the road from us - he really knows his stuff (and also owns one very special 68 4001 fireglo) and commented that my 02' burg bass sounded really different in its resonation (mostly acoustically) thats not suprising as the body is smaller, neck much heavier and thicker, and the headstock is a lot longer and thicker also.

Ditto!
I never get tired of posting that picture!
BTW, the 4003 WHT WT dates to February 1998 (N1 date code); the 4001S WHT is from October 1975 (another of the OJ date codes!).

Gary, I forgot about your WHT/WHT deluxe. Beautiful bass. I haven't seen many about. Yours, Jared's and the one I posted....
Love the elegant creamy White S too...
