Dave, my stock April 73 has the orange caps. I would imagine they are original. You do get different stuff around this time, but that looks all stock to me....

Here's a shot of the pots from my Sept 72 which I'm sure has never been touched since it left the factory.

Link to a picture of the wiring circuit on my '75 4001, white, before I removed the .0047uf cap. All was original and never touched before I did this mod.

my 73 had large orange tone caps and a small barrell yellow cap for the 0047


That's exactly how my two '73's where.
