Anyone have a case for a 4005 laying around? preferably the vintage type, talk about finding a needle in a haystack.

Ken Congratulations.

I glad the thumb rest came off O.K.
That could of been a disaster.

I'll keep an eye out for a case. However, I have never seen a real one for sale.

Ken,

If you can't find a RIC case, the Ameritage case for my Rick Turner fits it perfectly, the only thing that needs to be changed is the shape of the form fit interior padding for the body. Send Ameritage a tracing of the body and they can make you a case. Tell them the dimensions of the case are identical to the Renaissance RB4FL. It is a really nice case that supports the neck well and has a very generously sized accessory compartment. Did you see mine at MARF?

Nice Ken...Very Nice!

Looks all present and correct with that thumb rest in the right place....You had a stroke of luck with removing that....could of been screwed on.

Hope You do keep it...You'll probably never find another of those!

Out of interest ,what does it say on the TRC under the Ric logo...is it the model number or made in USA?
