I used to converse with Jaymi Millard via telephone a while back and I recently met Mike Skiffington. I swear Mike and I had met before but I cannot place where.

Lindsay,

What band does Jason play in? I also play in a Springfield area band, maybe I have crossed paths with him before.

Brian, for the life of me I can't remember their name. It was their last show of the year, so maybe he's still recuperating, but I'm sure he'll be along to tell us. Dean is in Inspected By 12. I don't get out much, but I can only recall seeing one Ric guitar around here (360 FG), and that was in the Fundamentals.

Hey Brian. The name of the band I'm in is Home By 11. We haven't played the Springfield area. We mostly play south of the area in Farmersville, Carlinville, Litchfield, Raymond - places like that.

I have had the pleasure of meeting many forumites in the last year. Soon, I will get to meet Peter Levett. I recently had Paul Boyer, Mike Gutierrez and Jeff Thomas over to my house for an informal micro confluence. I also attended the Columbus Confluence with Jeff Scott, Marc Seligman, Chris Pappas, Brian Crisman, Randy Hawkins, Tony from Pickguardian (great guy!!), Paul Boyer, and Mike Gutierrez. Did I leave anyone out?! This is a truly great community of enthusiasts. I can't say it enough. I really enjoy participating here.

I am familiar with all of those places, Jason. Next time your band is playing somewhere, let me know. I would like to check your band out.

It's not a Confluence if Paul Boyer isn't there Image Glad he could make the "micro-confluence", although with your collections, I'm sure it was in no way "micro!"

Recently, my wife and I drove from NJ to FL. Along the way, we stopped in Columbia, SC to visit John Williams. I had met jwilli at the MARC in Winchester, VA last month, so he invited me to meet him at one of his family's several restaurants, which was PACKED with patrons. John, Kathi and I talked about life, family and Rickenbackers for about an hour before we had to get back on the road.

John is a super friendly guy with a great business, beautiful family and an awesome collection of guitars! It was a great pleasure to spend a little time with him. THANKS, JOHN!

Btw, HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL FORUMITES AND FAMILIES!!

Mike Skiffington solved the riddle! We worked together 10+ years ago at a local record store. Man, it was killing me.

Brian - hope to meet you some time. I play bass in the Springfield, IL band Inspected By 12. I think there's a link to the band's website on my profile, if you click that. It was fun seeing Lindsay and Jason again in Farmersville. We'll have to have a beer together at a show sometime in '06....
