Congratulations Ken!
Now that it seems all of you have your CS, could you please help me to find one (I won't mind a later model)? Cash on the nail...
C'mon, make this poor italian guy happy!
PS: My '88 V63 has a black case too.

Bruno, just have your V63 refinished in SquireGlo. It'll look the same and cost a few grand less.

I know, Dane... it's only that my V63 has a particular value to me, I could neither give it away nor change it in any way...

How do you do it Ken? Nice score mate.
How does it play & sound? The guy I bought my 72' from also has a 68' and a CS. He said the CS was his favorite bass by a long way and was looking for a spare one!

Bob, I was looking for a spare CS(that's a lie because I didn't have a CS when I started the project), so I created my own..(with some mods)....
From looking at the picture, I see what you guys mean. The project is actually a 75 4000. The longer headstock on the CS rules. So does the sound. This one is number 30.

The earlier ones are in better proportions as apposed to the later ones, this ones a 91 has a slim neck, correct pickup surround, dimensionally correct headstock-trc,I wouldn't own a later one because of these things.

Bob,I might end up selling this one,I wasn't really looking for one I just ran across it and the early ones are hard to find ,so I snagged it.
So if anyone wants one real bad and is willing to pay the price[top dollar]let me know.

I have a feeling everything comes and goes with Ken at the right price. He buys right, then sells it if he gets the right offer.
Buy low, sell high..the American way...
