There might also be taxes involved. I'd do it anyway

AG must be pretty uncommon. Or is it Walnut?
It'd make a fabulous Christmas present!

Yes, Good Luck Dave.
However, if you decide against it, can you say? I'm pretty desperate to pick up a 4080 myself and would go for this if you don't...
Thanks

Nice bass Dave, go for it. Your basses have so many necks I think it may have to be called The Medusa Collection!

I think this is somewhat of a translation of the description:
Rickenbacker forme 4080 dates back to neck bass and gitar. Produced a abrupt periods at an end start 80 number. This am believable at early days 80. Bought in USA for 10 year afterwards. Convert there for charges at USD kr 25000,- about ) and oppover. Original bin follows along with. All in all crown stand. Exceptionally article.
I think it also said that Dave should either buy it, or Marc will

Here is another attempt:
"Rickenbacker model 4080 twin neck bass and guitar. Manufactured in a short period from late seventies to early eighties. This one is probably from the early eighties.
Purchased in USA 10 years ago. In USA this model sells for $3500 and up. Comes with original case. Top condition. Rare."
Marc, I didn't know you were fluent in norwegian?
(I am, haha)

BTW the seller lives 40 min. from me. It's probably much easier for me to buy it than Frode, since he lives in another part of the country.
I'm not interested in the 4080 myself, but I would gladly help out any of you!
