I remember getting the news about John Lennon when my alarm clock went off the next morning. "Imagine" or "Givev Peace a Chance" was playing, and afterwards the DJ recapped the horrible news. What was a good morning mood was instantly drained of joy.
The sad part was John was making a return to the music world. After 6 years or so of being Mr. Mom he was ready to begin a new chapter. Double Fantasy was a great album - I was so excited to heard good tunes from him again.
