I'm sure you can place an order one with Pick of the Rics or The Rickenbacker Page.

Jerry, what I think I have read here before, and if I am wrong, I'm sorry, but as I remember it, certain dealers have an extent to how much credit they can have in outstanding orders..(? he says, not remembering the EXACT wording)

This is the strategy (or one element of it) RIC is taking to eliminate the backlog – stop selling!

That's correct, Andy. We're trying to make realistic sense out of the backlog by not selling to dealers beyond what they can realistically handle when we ship their orders. One small store able to sell 10 guitars a year can tie up the entire production line by placing enormous orders; when the time comes to make shipment and pay for the goods, they can't handle it. Big volume stores- large credit limit- large orders. Small volume stores- small credit limits- small orders. Makes sense to me.

The best scenario would, of course, be to have goods in stock for anyone who wanted to order, or at least only a short wait, but that's not going to happen anytime soon.

JH,you guys do it the same way GM does it with there dealerships ever notice the bigger auto dealerships have more Corvettes on the lot then the smaller dealerships.

John, thanks for the clarification, didn't wanna mis-speak since I couldn't remember the exact wording of the previous post.

"So, Ben....would a certain Mr.Mike Parks be receiving any 4004cii/BBR's soon ? (translated:before Christmas of 2005?)"

All I can say is that two 4004Cii BBR's will ship before Christmas.

Afraid not, the others will ship later in 2006.

Those pics that Bass Northwest took are way bright. I assure you, they don't simply look like translucent blue! They are darker around the edges.
