I remember that Norm's Rare Guitars had a left-handed Jetglo 370v/12v64 on eBay a couple of years ago. The bidding got to rich for my pocketbook at the time.

Those are sweet! The stickers lend credence to the idea of the guards being factory. Is it a trick of the scan, or are the TRCs white?

So that means there must have been more than one run from Norm's.

I believe the limited run made for Norm's Rare Guitars in the early to mid-90s consisted of thirty guitars. I was told that some were produced with unusual features but all had a wider neck. Here is a photo of one that has a bound neck with dot inlays. I had a chance to buy this one a few years ago but couldn't afford it at the time.

Bob, I don't know for sure about the headstock. I believe it is a normal shaped headstock for that era. This picture is a scan of a 35 mm photo that the guitar owner mailed me. The tip of the headstock is cut-off in the photo and it is difficult to tell more.

I wonder if Mr. Hall would be willing to chime in with any data on this.

These actually predated the PT series by a few months, I now recall. The 6 and the 12 were both from April. Note the R tailpiece.

By the way, I was a bit muddle-headed in an earlier post. I believe that a fellow named Jimmy D. was the person at Sam Ash who ordered the guitars. Shirley Swanson was supposedly the person at Rickenbacker who took the order.

Kevin, from the look of the pic you posted, that guitar has the wider neck you speak of...with binding too. Cool!
